Planet Saturn – Significance (Part 1):
Planet Saturn is a Tough Master. Saturn is the Lord of the Zodiac signs Aquarius and Capricorn. Its effect is heightened in Libra but it has a debilitating effect in Aries. Saturn is a judge of past actions. Saturn is naturally beneficent of Jobs and Services, Age, Poverty, Hardships, Metals, Industries, Diseases, and every obstacle. An individual under the influence of a maleficent Saturn in his horoscope will suffer all his life and his progress will be slow. However, a favorable Saturn can grant you the achievement of your goals, and fame in your business or professional life, especially in areas of industry. A maleficent Saturn can lead to accidents, conflicts, poverty, pain, grief, depression, etc.
Planet Saturn – Significance (Part 2):
When Saturn is in the process of transitioning over the 12th,1st, and 2nd House from the Natal Chart Moon, a person is said to be under the Sade Sati of Saturn. The period of Saturn Sade Sati is seven and a half years since the planet Saturn takes around two and half years to move through One Zodiac Sign. An individual suffers major hardships, stress, tensions, and financial losses. These difficulties are made even more violent should Saturn be maleficent in the horoscope. Furthermore, when Saturn is transitioning over the 4th and 8th house from your Natal Moon Chart, this period is called Dhaiya or “Small Panoti” of Saturn. The maleficent effects of Small Panoti are quite similar in nature to that of Saturn Sade Sati. Either way, a Shani Puja or Sadhana can help solve all these problems, bringing great relief and blessings from Planet Saturn.
